Another comment -- I like the album, too, and it is pretty typical
Dave Edmunds. Like all other DE stuff it's real easy to hook onto
quickly (the title track hooked me in an instant... I heard it in
a record store just after release and walked out with the record),
but it doesn't wear thin with time. This seems to be a trait DE
shares with Nick Lowe, since I've gone through cycles of listening
to "Labour of Lust" more times over the years than I can remember.
Despite their personality clash, I think the two have a similar appeal.
Note on a favorite track -- "Information" contains a terrific cover
of the J. Geils Band's "Wait." A real good Edmunds rocker.
