In the docs for 2.0e it states that it is probably the last version as it is bug-free to his knowledge and finished as far as his needs go...

I seem to recall seeing several bugs in the Kermit implementation in this version. Since I assumed that he'd be out with a new version in minutes (these were obvious bugs; text came out in strange places or was missing), I never bothered sending him mail.
