[comp.sys.atari.st] I'm over the fence guys; it's sad to go...

Well, after two years of faithful service from my Atari 1040ST I went and
bought one of those fast 386 computers. You know, I don't resent Atari and
I still love Atari. Sure the company could do better making us Atari users
happy, but for me they did well enough. And if you are considering a 386
now, don't unless you are prepared to battle an Intel beast. The 68000
family is like a rose compared to the 80x86 toadstool. They may say that
they have made the registers more general and such, but not really. If you
want a good 68000 machine, Atari or Amiga is the way to go. (I'd say apple,
too, if not for ...)
