Earlier, I posted a message about using DEPICT (I think that is
the name...I'm on the Spectre GCR and can't get to my ST side) to create
PICT files from Degas.PI3 files.
Here's something else that is pretty slick. Using SNAPSHOT.TOS, etc.,
take a picture of Dave Small's ABOUT SPECTRE graphic. Convert this to
a .PICT. Edit it with a suitable painting program on the Mac side of
your ST so that only the graphic exists. Now then, use this as a
startup screen via BACKDROP desk accessory. HEE HEE... funny seeing the
Spectre GCR EMULATOR picture on a Mac. The Macintosh Representative at
our campus 'demanded' to have one. He now has it as his startup screen on
his Macs.
Funny stuff...
