Quick ST has been updated to handle high resolution monitors.
It now supports any sized monitor, whether 1280x960 or 640x400 or some other
size. To get this free update, reply to this message, and include your
name and address. Only registered users of Quick ST can receive this update.
Also state the kind of monitor you will be using. I am interested in finding
out what is most common:
- Viking Moniterm
- Hyperscreen
- Bigscreen (hi res emulator)
- other (???)
Unlike earlier versions of Quick ST which support hi res monitors, there is
no speed loss when using the non-standard resolution. For example, the
Viking Moniterm gets a 1200% boost in the speed of text printing, and almost
100% in GEM operations, the same as with the standard 640x400 screen.
