Some questions about the SLM804. The program DVISLM.TTp which should output Tex DVI files on the SLM, has anyone got it to work. My Mega4 does seem to like it. A test page comes out the the SLM but its blank ??? Anyone used (or even got) the Postscript emulator called (I think) Ultrascript. Any comments on it. Finally anyone got any documentation on the works of the SLM and the Diablo emulator - I've tried Atari UK and got nowhere. Any help most appreciated Steve C.

After catching part of the messages going back and forth, please
tell me something.....
Why in the world are people using an SLM804 (or ANY laser printer)
with programs like Award Maker or the like? Laser Printers are
EXPENSIVE--- I got mine only because I can make a living off of it...
and only use professional software, such as PageStream, Calamus,
Illustrator, etc. Why in the world does one pay for a premium device
and then use Mickey Mouse software?
BTW, I can see using something like LaserBrain (unavailable in the
US) to replace the Diablo Emulator. The control panel locks up my
system sdo regularly that I can;t use it.
