I notice that a number of US netters still think the ATW is vapourware, it is *NOT* I have seen many working machines. The ATW is very powerfull with great graphics but is of as expected expencive (exact cost eludes me.) On to another subject the Stacy. A few people have asked for comments on the this machine. Firstly the back lit screen is easy to read although the screen update times are a little slow, and compaires well with the very expencive apple mac protable. Secondly on a lower note it is reported that the battery life is short... VERY short on hard drive modles. ST world have just done a full review if you require more details. Dave Halliday. Oh jesus, how many people are going to take their (is it STACY or STACEY) out on a picnic to do some page layout under the ol' oak tree? I think (in my cocky opinion) that most people want the STACY so they can port it from one place to another w/o all the schmabang of crap that comes with a normal ST... I suppose I could be wrong... NAH! Gregory M. L-K.

L-K. STACY. At least, that's what it says on the machines I've seen at a computer show and in the reviews in the computer press here. Maybe Atari are saving the 'E' for the 'enhanced' version. :-) Graham -- Graham Thomas, SPRU, Mantell Building, U of Sussex, Brighton, BN1 9RF, UK JANET: grahamt@uk.ac.sussex.syma EARN/BITNET: grahamt@syma.sussex.ac.uk ARPA: grahamt%syma.sussex.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk UUCP: grahamt@syma.uucp Phone: +44 273 686758
