[net.wanted] Optical discs

gdmr@cstvax.UUCP (George D M Ross) (01/06/86)

Does anyone out there have any experience with using optical discs, either
as a "consumer" or as someone who has written software to drive one. We
are contemplating adding file servers based on such a beast to our network.
Any input, pointers, etc gratefully received.
                                             George.

We at Lancaster are also interested in this area, in particular we need to be
able to write to the beasts.
