I second Larry Rymal's motion to suppress rumors. When I hear a rumor I ask for chapter and verse from primary sources. If folks on the net want to post messages es about viruses in software let them post messages about ones they have personally seen. The ST market has been lucky in this regard, I suspect that it is because the market is too small to attract the really competent virus mecahnics. George Woodside may be another factor because he works hard to keep them under control. None of this keeps me from being really paranoid. I have invested close to $2000 in backup technology so that when the day comes when I have to rebuild everything I will be able to do so.
