barry.manning@canremote.uucp (BARRY MANNING) (02/09/90)

Anyone really knowledgeable out there know if there are yet any
inexpensive samplers coming out with a spec. as follows:
  1. 16 bit A/D/A conversion.
  2. Driven by ST midi port
  3. Sequencer to St midi port to sampler.
  4. 8 RCA outputs
  5. 500 dollars
  6. Supports a database of sound files on an ST drive
The 8 bit just dont do the job.
Also i have heard about uniplayer - what is it??????
Also any floppy opticals coming out??????????
Sign me still waiting for solutions!!!!!!!!!!

Umm, not quite yet. I should think it will be awhile before this happens.
