You're right, that bug has nothing to do with any program, TEMPUS, Calamus, or what have you. My guess is that the phantom typist appears because the keyboard buffer has overflowed, but who knows? I get it (or something like it) maybe once every two or three months. --- * Via ProDoor 3.1R

I agree that it must be above GemDos, ie AES/VDI. In three years heavy editing in a non-Gem editor, which uses BIOS calls for input, I have not encountered anything like the bug described.
