Howdy all... I am having a problem with my MEGA 2. When I attempt to boot up (turn the power switch on) there is a pulsating sound in sync with the rapid flashing of the power indicator light on the keyboard. I remember someone posting a similar problem with the MEGA2 a while back and I was wondering if that person could step forward and let me know what was done to correct the problem. My machine is still under warranty, but since my company purchased it through the developers program, the only way to have it fixed free of charge is send it back to Atari to get a replacement. Problem is, they don't have any replacements handy and I would be indefinitely stuck without a machine. I *could* try to fix it myself, but that would void my warranty (opening the case). If I did that and found the problem to be something serious (that I couldn't fix) I"d be stuck without a warranty and would have to pay a replacement charge for a replacement machine. Seems like a no-win situation! So, my question goes out to all those who have experienced this problem... If you fixed the problem that causes this pulsating, what WAS the problem, and what would be involved for me to fix it myself? Thanks in advance Ron DiNapoli
