Just last night I heard on our local FM radio station (OZ-FM),
that the reason Mick Jones was kicked out of the Clash was that
he didn't feel like playing any more (ie. whenever the Clash wanted
to go on the road, Mick always wanted to stay home). The have
supposedly hired TWO guitarists to take his place! Can anyone
confirm/deny this? If they take in two guitarists, I cannot see
that Strummer has much to do anymore besides sing (they wouldn't
have three guitarists).
If anyone can tell me what is really going on with the Clash, I
would really like to know. Thanks.

Well, I heard that the reason Mick Jones was kicked out of the Clash, was
because the rest of the group felt that he (mick ) didn't possess enough
talent to keep up with the group. (Ie. they thought he's a sh*tty guitar
player!)
This is pretty stupid, because I think that Jones was the most
artisticly talented of the group! Just look at Strummer - he can't sing! he
only screaches! Now look at any of Jones' songs (Lost in the Supermarket etc.)
THEY'RE GOOD!!
