I have become interested in upgrading my Mega2 to a Mega4. My question is,
is there any way of knowing what the status of my motherboard is pertaining
to memory upgrade (ie sockets, no sockets, filled solder holes, impossible,
easy, whatever) based on it's serial number (or some other distinguishing
characteristic)? I do not want to open it up unless I have to. It was
purchased about 2 years ago, and has a slanted disk drive thingy, with
a large parellelogram style eject button.
For that matter, based on these things, can anyone tell me what kind of drive
I have (Chinon, Sony, ??)?
