Howdy! There have been several requests for the new nethack binaries. I was wondering if there was someone out there who was mailing off the files to those people or not. If so, perhaps we could find some central clearing house for requests. At any rate, for those of you with ftp access, there is now a file "nh3_pl7.lzh" in the atari/new directory on terminator [35.1.33.8]. It is a bare essentials file will the executable and all the primary support files. The Guidebook, man pages & misc. docs are ommitted. It does run though. The font maker "hackfnt.prg" is included--and does it look great! @8^) I'm outta town after this Saturday so I can't mail out a 6 part uuencoded file until next week. Maybe some nice person out there would take care of that. I don't know what the schedule for patchlevel 8 is. It may be that we should wait for it before re-submitting to the archives.
