[comp.sys.atari.st] Accelerator Board, Where?

frachel@umiami.miami.edu (03/24/90)

Does anyone have the address and # of where to get the Turbo 16
Accelerator Board?

Also, will this board fit in the computer with Pc-Ditto 2?

To my understanding, with the present size of the PC-Ditto II board, you
would be lucky to be able to cram just it into an Atari. New smaller board
should come out RSN. I understand that PC-Ditto II uses a clip which
attaches to the 68000, and will not fit if one has anything glued/soldered
on top or under it (I am not sure if Turbo 16 attaches that way).

About the status of when a smaller version of PC Ditto II will ship:

Probably several months from now, unless they bring back the old version of PC
Ditto II (which was shown at the last WOA Show, and was as big as the 68000
chip), which could do a Norton SI of 3.0...
