[comp.sys.atari.st] C++ for the ST?

Very simply, is there a C++ compiler available for the ST?

Thanks,
Andy

Yes there is. Tim Onders (onders@harvard.uucp) has
made available the GNU port to the ST.

An almost complete minimal system was uploaded to CIS :-$,
(no gas Tim.) And I can testify that:

	cout << "Hello C++ World\n";

works.

In addition, Tim will real mail you the complete ST
distribution of the GNU stuff for $35US. Contact him
via e-mail for more information.

And just when I was ready to junk the puppy someone ports
something worthwhile to it!

Simple answer: Yes. You'll need at least 2.5 MB and g++ from FSF. Price
is nice: nothing. I own V1.35.1, which is slightly unstable, but V1.35.1
should be available anywhere. If you have FTP access, you'll have no
problem to fetch it. If so, I'll try to find an address for you.

CU Carsten.
