[comp.sys.atari.st] Compressing animation pics

jvance@bonnie.ics.uci.edu (Joachim Patrick Vance) (05/28/90)

I've been playing around with the pearl raytracer from terminator.
It produces some nice looking ray traced animation but now I have
over two meg of .PI1 pics.
I'm sure these can be compressed, but what I want to know is if there
is a PD or shareware or commercial program that will compress the pictures
and put them into one of the many animation file formats. I'd rather
have one 500k file than 25 30k files.
