[comp.sys.atari.st] When will GNU AWK 2.11 be available?

I've just seen GNU AWK v2.11 in comp.sources.unix. This one is compatible
with the `new' version of awk. Does anyone have any idea how long it will
be before we see an ST port? And on the subject of text processors, is there
a version of perl for the ST?
