[comp.sys.atari.st] Wordperfect questions

depeche@quiche.cs.mcgill.ca (Sam Alan EZUST) (06/17/90)

I purchased a very old version of WP, and sent away for the upgrade.
On the disks they sent me, one of the files was WP_SPOOL.ACC,
an accessory which (presumably) spools printing.

Well, I have it installed, and I try printing something very huge,
and then I want to exit WP, but it won't let me!! After some experimentation,
it seems to only be a very small print buffer (no more than 4k, by my guess).

My manual (old) says nothing about it, and the little xerox page which
was sent with the new disks (just a printout of readme) also says
nothing about it... Does anyone out there in netland know how to
get more out of this little accessory? If I could configure it for say,
a 64K buffer, it would be quite useful!

Also, I lost (literally, LOST - I can't find it) my new PRINT disk
for WP (august 89).. If someone out there in net.land who also has it
could be so kind as to send it to me, I'd appreciate it
(I do have a legal copy - I can even supply my serial number to anyone who
wants to know, but I thought this would cheaper and faster than contacting
WP directly).

Thanks in advance!!
