I had the same problem with my ST. My solution was rather 'plain' but simple, cheap and effective. I've got an imbedded SCSI drive on my ST, with an ICD host adapter. (The SCSI drive w/ICD often takes two "reboot" cycles even if the drive is up to speed.) What I did was to create a blank floppy, and in it's auto folder is: (in this order) icdboot.prg coldboot.prg If the hard drive does not boot, then coldboot runs, and the cycle continues until the HD is ready.
