Because I want to add MS-DOS to my atari, I was thinking of PC Speed. But last week somebody told me about the possibility of changing the ST into an AT. Has somebody already seen this hardware? My local dealer told my it's not available in the Netherlands (yet) and when it is, it costs about the same as PC Speed. Is it already for sale in the USA or Germany? How good is it? Any information is good. > > > Joep. > Yes, there is a direct successor to the PC-Speed, it's calles AT-Speed and will be available in 3 to 6 Week's for about the same money of the PC-Speed. It will have a Norton Index of about 6 to 7 and applies to be very compatible. But there is another alternative, which could be available in a few weeks / months. The AT-Once from Vortex, also a german hardware producer. They announced it on the CeBit in Hannover this year. It will cost as much as PC-Speed and have the same Norton SI.
