Quite impressive in low-res with 16 colors ... (it takes care of pictures with resolutions higher than 320x200 via scroll bars). It is shareware though and the author wants $15. Yes, there is B-GIF from the public domain. It will run on color systems only, but as it can also convert to Spectrum 512 (.SPU and .SPC) pictures, quite STunning.
