[comp.sys.atari.st] 680x0 <==> 80x86 Flame Wars

GINGRICH-T@osu-20.ircc.ohio-state.edu (Tyler S Gingrich) (08/01/90)

Let me summarize the past few days in this group:

The 680x0 blah, blah, flame, and all computers designed around the 680x0
are clearly superior...blah, flame, [list of reasons], drone, etc...

Followed by:

The 80x86 line of processors is so great that a puddle of slime would see
the blah, blah, drone, flame, flame, drone, [knee-jerk reaction to earlier
post], blah, etc....

and on, and on, and on.....

THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS!

This board is for Atari ST related posts. If I
want to ennumerate the differences between the micro-processors
from different companies, I'll buy a book or get their sales literature.

Please take further 'discussion' to e-mail or alt.flame (whichever is more
appropriate!).

This article reflects my feelings exactly. If you want to rant about your
favourite processor and flame people happy with another one the go to
alt.flame. If you want to conduct terribly technical discussions about
processors, their architecture and the relative merits thereof, go to comp.arch.

In the comp.sys groups, discuss the machines and their programming, etc.
