When I originally bought my drive, the computer would always boot from the floppy with the hard drive off. Then, due to a disk problem, I sent my hard disk back to Supra and they replaced the drive. Now I can no longer boot from the floppy with the hard drive off. I must always unplug the hard drive and then boot the ST. Otherwise the ST does not seem to recognize the built in floppy. This happens even without any AUTO folder programs or accessories. A friend has the same problem. Does anyone know why this is happening and, more importantly, how to fix it? Computer: 1040STf (no upgrades) Drive : Supra 30MB Hard Disk Thanks in advance! ****************************************************************************** * ************************************************************************** * * * * * * * Mario D'Alessio Motorola, Inc. * * * * uunet!motcid!marble!dalessio Cellular Infrastructure Division * * * * * * * ************************************************************************** * ******************************************************************************
