Have you forgotten the blues, country, and R+R (invented by Merkins
in Merka) that originally gave the 60's British invasion something
to sing in the first place? Or the Iggy Pop, NY Dolls, MC5, and Patti
Smith that (again, all Merkins) that created the base of the current
British invasion?

Don't blame our artists for a lack of creativity that resides in the
minds of the American listening (and record buying) public only.
There's more intense musical creativity in this country right now
than at any time I can remember!

The major labels simply refuse to record it, probably because YOU jerks
probably wouldn't buy it. Fortunately, labels like Ralph, Alternative
Tentacles, &c, are probably exposing the next generation of British
Invaders to what must surely seem like a breath of fresh air amonsgt
all that techno-drivel we keep persuading them to produce.
