Does anyone know what the JRI Genlock system does? I know what genlocking is--it's just that I saw a one-line ad for this system which I've never heard of before. Thanks in advance for any info. Paul Kerchen kerchen@kongur.ucdavis.edu - or - kerchen@iris.ucdavis.edu

Don't know much about the JRI system, but I saw it in action at The World of Atari in San Jose last weekend, and it looked real nice. Live video with computer generated color graphics laid on top. In case someone doesn't know, genlock allows a computer to sync to an external vido input, so that the two can be mixed together. As I said, the JRI unit looked real crisp. they had a three-dee animation of the word 'genlock' spinning over the output from a camcorder. ...that's all I wrote!
