[comp.sys.atari.st] Virus-like screen problem

silvert@cs.dal.ca (Bill Silvert) (09/01/90)

I've just run into a problem with my ST that looks disturbingly like a
virus, although I am running on a recently reformatted Quantum HD.

The problem appears only with VIP Professionsl. The menu bar has a
broken appearance, as though someone had scratched X's on the screen.
The menu is a bit erratic on pull-down, otherwise VIP functions
correctly and works OK.

No problems with other programs as yet. Any ideas?

Are you using GDOS? VIP Professional doesn't like it!
