If I boot my system with AMCGDOS then GEMINI works fine but other applications such as TIMEWORKS moan about not being able to find font files after rebooting with their assign.sys. If I use GDOS 1.1 all my applications work fine but when booting with gemini's assign.sys all the additional fonts gemini.fnt,courier.fnt,... apear as garbage. Has anybody got any ideas? I thought AMCGDOS and GDOS where supposed to be compatible. Would G++ solve the problem? Dave Halliday (D.C.Halliday@newcastle.ac.uk)

GDOS and G++ have a strange feature!! They ignore the Motorola format flag. So all fonts must be in Intel (yaghh!) format (bytes are swapped in each word). To use the gemini.fnt,... with GDOS, you mus convert it to the Intel format... -- -------------------- Rogerio Reis UUCP: rvr@nccup.pt Centro de Informatica da Universidade do Porto EAN: rvr@ncc.up.ctt.pt R.Campo Alegre, 823, 4000 Porto, PORTUGAL Telef: +351 2 6001672
