I recently posted a problem about damaged menu appearances in VIP Professional. The problem turns out to be due to loading AMCGDOS.PRG in my AUTO folder -- no AMCGDOS, no problem. I did verify that the VIP was not damaged -- running from the original disk (write-protected of course) showed the same problem. Also, ALTBOOT did not work with AMCGDOS installed -- I though ALTBOOT came first, but I will have to check. I'd hate to have to choose between VIP and Gemini! -- William Silvert, Habitat Ecology Division, Bedford Inst. of Oceanography P. O. Box 1006, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, CANADA B2Y 4A2. Tel. Regular Atari GDOS causes similar problems with VIP Professional.
