I hate to waste bandwidth on this, because I thought it was self-evident, but apparently I was wrong. PLEASE do not answer silly messages like the one from a person with the handle "PETRA." If you are concerned, send a message directly to the person. If you are more concerned, send a message to the sysop of the person's machine (root?), telling the sysop that this person is abusing Usenet's resources, in your opinion. The only way to keep assholes off the net is to freeze them out completely -- they're looking for attention, and if we don't give it to them they'll move on somewhere else, like maybe drinking ammonia or assasinating US presidents, the pre-Usenet methods of being noticed. Let's keep comp.sys.atari.st for serious discussion. Otherwise, we are grossly betraying the trust of the institutions who pay thousands of $$ every year to distribute our ravings.
