I just got my Word Up disk 1 update, and Version 2.0 of Fontz from Neocept yesterday. For those who are wondering, the reason it took so long is because Fontz 2.0 was only finished on September 11th. The upgrade to Word Up 3.0 is the August 20 version, and now requires that you also upgrade disk 5 (the printer drivers). Send in your Word Up 3.0 disk 5 and a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope ($0.25) (in the U.S.A.) to Neocept at its new address: Neocept, Inc. 925 Paseo Camarillo, Suite 646 Camarillo, CA 93010 tel. (805) 484-2041 Neocept is still selling off ST hardware: Atari Laser printer: $490.00 1040STF w/mono monitor, $360.00 call *them* about the hardware. I'm not affiliated with them, just a fairly satisfied user (hate the blinking line cursor though! 8-). If you want a MAC Write (tm) like wordprocessor in native ST mode, Word Up 3.0 is it. It has an excellent dictionary and thesaurus, and is in its way, a rival for Word Perfect and low end desktop publishing programs. It has multiple fonts and the ability to incorporate bitmap and object oriented pictures in your documents. It runs on unexpanded 520s and can be used off of floppies, but more memory and a hard disk are recommended IMHO. It really is getting to be excellent and still *cheap* with this 3.0 version. If this sounds good to you, buy it, so Neocept can be around for the coming TT age 8-). Bob Pegram Internet domain: pegram@griffin.uvm.edu UUCP: uunet!uvm-gen!pegram
