[net.wanted] Tape back up utilities

I would like to have a utility that lets me back up a given file system

without having to shut down the the whole computer to single user

or even unmount that file system.  (I know, wishful thinking)

I am running Ultrix 1.1 (4.2 bsd) with lots of disk space and lots of

users; shutting down for backups is a real problem!
