Last week I received my update to NeoDesk 3.01 from Gribnif. I tried to get it running but all my attempts were in vain. Sometimes I got to the NeoDesk desktop, but after some time I got 2 bombs and the system hang. After trying everything I could think of, I conclude that there must be some error in the NEOLOAD.PRG file. This error might be a bug, or something that has happened to it during shipping. My question now is: could someone please send me a copy of the NEOLOAD.PRG file. I do not think this is illegal, because I would be unable to use it unless I already have the rest of the package. If someone out there has NeoDesk 3.01 but does not want to send a copy of NEOLOAD.PRG, then PLEASE send me : 1. The length of the file in bytes 2. Some kind of checksum, so I can check if my copy of NEOLOAD.PRG is indeed corrupted. You might say I could write to Gribnif directly, but it takes about 10 weeks to get an answer back (I tried it once before). Richard Schaaf (<rfschaa@cs.vu.nl>).
