Hi! Great thanks to Eric Smith for MiNT; It look's quite well after some minutes playing with it. But if I start mgr and try to open a window (initially there is none) I get the error message Can't get a pty What have I to do here ? With 1 megabyte of memory, by the time MiNT and MGR are loaded there is very little left. You'll have to remove all ramdisks, etc. to get enough memory to open a window; also I recommend using a fairly small shell (e.g. MiNT's init.prg). Make sure that the SHELL environment variable is set to the full path and name of your shell, with a command like "setenv SHELL c:\init.prg" (you can put this in the file init.rc if you're using MiNT's default init.prg). If all else fails, push CTRL-ALT-F1 twice and try again. The screen will show a trace of what's happening as you try to open the window; from this you may be able to see what's wrong. -- Eric R.
