[net.wanted] Recovery of files from damaged tar tape?

Does anyone know of any utility(s) that will allow
recovery of files from the non-damaged portions of
a damaged tar tape?

Please send E-mail to me as I do not monitor this
news group.  I will post any good information that
I receive to net.unix if interest is indicated.
