According to the Columbus Dispatch today (2/15) the song Think Of Laura is about an 18-year-old Denison University student. The girl was a best friend of Cross' girlfriend, Paige McNinch, at the time. Laura Carter was struck by a stray gunfire in April 1982 here in Columbus.
