[comp.sys.atari.st] C Compilers-->K&R or ANSI Draft??

kendall@bsu-cs.bsu.edu (Stephen P. Kendall) (09/27/90)

Can anyone drop me a brief email and tell me which (if any) of the "pro" C
compilers are ANSI standard, or at least accept ANSI function definitions??

Thanks if you can.

  Lattice C v5 appears to comply with the ANSI standard (not draft).

  As does Prospero C.

  Oh, GNU gcc does as well.

  So there's no excuse for writing 'old' C code any more, is there? :-)
