I have been doing some research in the two dimensional presentation of a network (particularly a directed acyclic graph). I am interested in learning about other people's efforts in developing software that will display a network in a "readable" form. Yes, what makes a network readable? Probably a layout procedure that attempts to minimize the number of crossed lines. If you have any information, or can give me leads to people or research papers that deal with this problem, I would appreciate your effort in relaying that information to me. Thank you for you interest. Al Tabayoyon Tektronix, Inc. P.O. Box 4600, M/S 92-826 Beaverton, OR 97075 UUCP:{ihnp4, ucbvax, decvax, uw-beaver}!tektronix!hercules!alt
