Has anyone tried connecting any of the Tandy (from Radio Shack) color monitors to an ST? Radio Shack is selling the CM-8 for $179.95 at the moment, and my guess is that it might work well. The Tandy color computer (which the CM-8 is designed for) has an analog, RGB+I, 60Hz, + sound output. Which I think is the same as the ST out??? In fact, what color monitors (apart from the Atari) have people used with success? There is nothing wrong with the Atari, just others are sometimes obtainable cheap. If people write me, I'll make up a summary, and post. hi david, i've been using a commodore 1084s with my st for over a year 9 now and think its great. Most rgb analog monitors will work with the st ,its just a matter of making the right cable(getting the pin configuration is the hardest part). As to the tandy monitors i'm not sure if they'd work, arn't they digital? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Bell uunet!van_bc!rsoft!mindlink!a1076 Benndorf-Verster a1076@mindlink.uucp Vancouver Canada voice 604-853-5870 -------------------------------------------------------------------
