I have a few questions about Spectre GCR and Overscan that I hope someone can answer for me. First, where can I get info about overscan. I have gotten the software, but not the article describing the hardware mods. Does the mod need to be on a Mega, or any ST (I have a 1 meg 520 ST)? As I also understand it is only available for the monochrome monitor, is this true? About Spectre GCR. Will Spectre GCR work with the overscan on a mono monitor? I have heard that some early Mac 128K ROMS were eproms, and that the GCR doesn't allow eproms to prevent piracy is any of this true (ie. will I need to be careful if purchasing used roms mail order)? And finally, where can I get bot the Spectre GCR and Mac roms, and what prices should I expect? Thank you for your help, please respond vie email.
