Last Night I saw a few New Programs at the Local Atari Dealer. TCB - a STE Compatable sample sequencer and player $89.95 ST-Replay Professional - 3 Programs and A new Replay Cartridge $199.95 TCB: The package description left alot to be desired. No Screen shots and a poor description of the capabilities. This package will sell by use and demo. Luckily the TCB was running on an STE in the store. I thought it was a game intro running. The music and sequencing was fantastic! I watched as someone in the store played with the controls. It has a built in equalizer. It is also capable of being used on a standard ST. My impression was that this is a sequencer only product. Capable of playing samples in memory. MIDI support? I believe the package stated MIDI IN/OUT capability. What's that mean? ST-Replay Professional: A complete package containing 3 programs. A sampler/ editor, a Drum-Machine Style Sequencer, and a Sythesizer. The sampler editor looks to have many more features than the standard Replay4. It had a picture of a 3-D sound wave map. FFT? FFT was said to be supported. The Drum Machine Sequencer "looked" full featured. It was stated to support Clock In/Out. The Synthesizer Package was a full featured sampler. This software alone could be worth the purchase price. It was capable of holding 30 Voices. It also supported pitch bend and Portamento. I don't remember if it responded to Velocity. Lastly the Cartridge. "Redesigned" 12 bit sampling cartridge to play four voices at once through the cartridge port. This is all from memory and a 'fuzzy' one at that. If you know more..... please share. I'd really like to know the MIDI capabilites of these products. +Patrick
