I have just been offered OSS Personal Pascal 2.0 for $20 (with docs, etc). I worked a little with the old version 1.10, but have never seen 2.0. Can anyone tell me if this version (2.0) has major bugs, good docs, good libraries, etc? If it is caca, I want to put my $20 toward a copy of Prospero Pascal. Thanks in advance! -- Mickey R. I haven't tried to use these features, but I think my version is 2.05. The GEM libraries are fairly complete, and if they are not enough you can always create your own entry into lower level access to the machine. I've done this, and it isn't too bad a system. The editor is great! Fast, efficient, GEM-based. The only thing that bothers me is that you can't save the settings. Another feature I found useful was the ability to link in other object files. I assembled something with jas.ttp (the Sozobon C assembler) and linked it in, no problem. I would love a comparison between Personal, Metacomco, and Prospero.
