What I do use is Maccel 3,this works nicely in colour(don't know about mono),and the blanker that comes with Ramplus ver.122. Ramplus's blanker is just a colour alternator but it works well and I've had no problems with it blanking for extended periods of time(up to 24 hrs,others I've had lock up on me). I haven't heard of any problems with either prg. on a mono,so you may wish to give Ramplus a try. Can anyone in netland please reccomend a reliable screen blanker, that will function in all resolutions without software modification? I can't seem to get pyro to work, the Atari MACCELL bugs in mono, and STblank functions, but disrupts my com port operation. Thanks, chris r crouland@gmuvax2.gmu.edu

It switches between normal and invers video every 15 seconds. Greetings, Olaf

I have a program with corner clock and screen blank (works on all res and does not stop program - only blanks screen). It should be in comp.binaries as TIMEDRV5.PRG - look for it or send me a message...
