[comp.sys.atari.st] Sozobon C - Sun port.

kentd@FtCollins.NCR.com (Kent.Dalton) (11/07/90)

Recently in this group, cross compiling ST programs on other systems had
been discussed. Inspired by this, I grabbed the Sozobon C sources (V1.2) and
"ported" them to my Sun at work and I was wondering if anyone would be
interested in the diffs to the original ST sources (No warranty, of
course :^) ?

It should compile on most UNIXes provided they support the system()
function (is this typically available? I dunno, SunOS, which is a BSD
derivative, is the only flavor of UNIX I've ever really programmed on.)

The vast majority of changes were due to word length assumption problems.

As soon as I'm able to get GCC sources, I plan on looking at porting it,
also. Unfortunately, that'll probably take several centuries seeing as
how I only have mail access to terminator! :^\
