I have a trouble using Uniterm. I work remote on many machines; but my 'own' Sun gives me trouble. That is, I call the machine, I have to type my personal identification code, then it calls me back, I type my code again and normal login sequence starts. Weird thing is: I call and connect in 8 bits no parity, in which I type my code too (both times). But then the Sun's welcome message and login prompt appears ... in 7 bits even! I thought this would be an error in the Sun's login sequence scripts. But it's not! I recently tried uw, and I logged in at 8-even, and, just to be sure to be sure, I tried other terminal programs. It's only in Uniterm that I have to switch back to 7-even! I have Uniterm 2.0e011, but the same behaviour occurred in all previous versions of the program I tried. Does anyone know why this problem occurs, or how to solve it?? Thanx! Jeroen (jeroen@phil.ruu.nl) P.S. Even know I agree Uniterm is the best terminal program. No question about it.
