Greetings, all. I was wondering - I have a program called spslidex which can view .spc, .spu. and .sps files. These are 'pseudo' 512-colour images in low-resolution. BGIF creates .spu files which always take 51k but I know that many of them can be compressed. Ideally I would like to compress them to .spc, since that seems to be standard, but .sps is okay too, since it is a bit more compact. Well, I have NO IDEA how to convert them to .SPC, and spslidex doesn't do too good of a job converting to .SPS, as I usually end up getting 'blotches' of black all over the picture, after the conversion, and converting it back to .spu still leaves the blotches in the picture!!! I should say that spslidex works great converting from .spc to .sps, but it hasn't worked ONCE for me converting from .spu to .sps Is there a newer version of spslidex out there? or a different program which does the conversion? -- |S.
