[comp.sys.atari.st] WordUp 3.0 printer drivers 8/20/90 - EABCO SALE!

pegram@kira.UUCP (Robert B. Pegram) (11/17/90)

MY REQUEST:
Does anyone have the 8/20/90 update of disk 5 of WordUp 3.0? I have
the rest of the update, (disk 1) but my disk 5 got sent back from
Louisiana (*not* Camarillo CA!) with my old drivers on it. If the
upgrade is still on Genie, tell me where, I might have to join (or pay
one of my friends to download it 8-). I would prefer it if someone
could uuencode it and email it to me though. If you're worried about
sending it, remember, it's ARCed with encription, (I checked, I hate
the install program) - so I couldn't rip off poor (defunct??) Neocept
if I wanted to, and nobody wants *just* printer drivers do they???

OTHER INFO:
On a related note, E.Arthur Brown Co. sent me my Spectre GCR and a new
flier. They can now sell Ataris by mail order. They also have
closeouts of many Michtron products - also defunct now? I heard that
Michtron's phone is disconnected, didn't try it myself. Three items
stick in mind: Fleet Street Publisher 3.0 (funky, but includes built in
UltraScript postscript emulation and support) for $70 and MasterCAD 3D
(sp?) for $30, also Tempus (probably v2.07) for $20 to $30. EABCO is
in Alexandria, Minnesota U.S.A., and will ship overseas (I checked once 8-).
I'm not too sorry that I don't have their phone and address with me -
I need to get in my order! Email me if you really can't find their
address and phone.

Happy close-outing - now you know why I finally got a GCR (the death of
U.S. ST software firms + the Apple ROM scare 8-) I do hope that
increased importation by dealers, rather than big distributors like
Michtron was, will actually improve matters. You can buy Lattice C
5.06 and Turbo C (ST) from Joppa Computers in Maryland _now_. That's
how I finally upgraded to an optimising ANSI C compiler (Lattice -
cheaper and in English, supposed to be fast too! 8-).
