I cuss them a lot and hope I can figure out which lharc/lhunarc/lzh program
matches the one used to create the archive. If I can get them unbundled,
I repack them with ZOO, so I can trust the results.

LZH is a good idea, but some of the people implementing it on the ST have
made bad and nonportable assumptions about structures, word ordering, etc.,
resulting in serious incompatibilities. It's like trying to pick a lock.
If you can find the right combination, you strike it rich.

Get all the LZH archivers on Panarthea and atari.archive.umich.edu -- eventually
you'll need every one of them.

you LAUGH at them. Drives them nuts.

GUTEST6@cc1.kuleuven.ac.be (Kris Van Hees) (11/21/90)

Could anyone please send me a de-archiver for .lzh files. I only have
ARC, and so I can't use any program in the archives as they all seem to
be .lzh's. An FTP address to get such a de-archiver would also be
welcome. As well as a FTP address for the archive (if existing).

Regards,

Kris Van Hees.

At atari.archive.umich.edu (141.211.164.8) you can find what you need. Get
the file lharc.arc from the directory /atari/archivers.

If you also want a decent GEM shell for all the relevant archivers (Zoo,
Arc, LHarc) get the file arcgsh31 from the directory
/atari/Binaries/volume12. (Hmm, that's not the most recent version but a
new release is in the making anyway. Yes, I wrote it.)
