This is a pointer to the discussion "Re: JetLink Express 1.2 vs HP DeskJet 500", posted in comp.periphs.printers (and comp.sys.mac.misc, if you don't get c.p.p). JetLink Express is a PCL printer (Desk/LaserJet) driver for the Macintosh. Someone from comp.sys.atari.st or comp.sys.amiga (GET YER HANDS OFF THE KEYBOARD!) emailed me a question about the DeskJet 500 vs. DeskWriter, and I didn't have a good answer for them. Unfortunately, I purged their name etc. last week and I don't remember who it was. The discussion mentioned above may be interesting to the person who asked me the question.
